The City of Fort Collins Streets Department will begin an asphalt overlay project on South Timberline Road from just south of Harmony Road to south of Battlecreek Drive/ Stetson Creek Drive beginning Monday, July 10, weather permitting.

Full directional closures will be in effect during construction. Timberline will initially close to southbound traffic while crews work in the southbound lanes and then switch, with Timberline closing to northbound traffic during the second half of the project.

Work is expected to last two weeks, weather permitting.

Drivers should be aware of the closure and follow posted detours. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained by the detour routes.

This asphalt repair is part of the City of Fort Collins Street Maintenance Program.

This is the first of three major asphalt paving projects on Timberline in 2023. The others are a section of Timberline between Trilby and Carpenter roads and the ongoing Timberline widening project between Stetson Creek and Trilby Road. Together, these projects will result in a new asphalt surface on Timberline from Harmony Road to Carpenter Road.

Work Zone Information

Typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., however work may occur outside these times slightly. Alternate routes are suggested to avoid the construction zones.
