Larimer County issued the following announcement on Sept. 15.
On September 14, 2020, Larimer County Coroner’s Office responded to a death scene in Rocky Mountain National Park. Steven J. Grunwald, age 24 of Greenville, New York was found near McHenry’s Notch Couloir. A forensic autopsy was performed by James A. Wilkerson, IV, MD, Larimer County Coroner. Date of death was determined to be August 29, 2020.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt Force Injuries
