Cost of college went up for all students at IBMC College

Tuition and fees rose 2.9 percent for 2018-19 at IBMC College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Colorado students paid $12,960 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $360 more than the $12,600 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 90 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 274 students received grants or scholarships totaling $931,244 and 289 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.1 million.

Including all undergraduates (405), 291 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.3 million, and 308 students took out $2.2 million in federal student loans.
