84 percent of applicants to Colorado State University-Fort Collins were admitted for fall 2018

At Colorado State University-Fort Collins, 90 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Fort Collins enrolled 33,478 students in fall 2018, including 25,962 in undergraduate and 7,516 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

71 percent of undergraduates are residents of Colorado, and 29 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (71 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (14 percent).

The school admitted 84 percent of the 24,496 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 26 percent enrolled.
