During the 2022-23 school year, school administrators in Estes Park School District R-3 handed out 72 disciplinary actions, according to the Colorado Department of Education. That’s an increase over the previous school year.
White students suffered the most disciplinary actions (68.1%), followed by Hispanic or Latino students (31.9%).
In comparison, Hispanic or Latino students made up 33.6%, white students accounted for 66.4% of overall enrollment in Larimer schools during 2022-23.
A total of 24 students had to be referred to law enforcement during the 2022-23 school year.
