CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves, featuring former Loveland High School standout Emma Case, earned a 6-2 victory over the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets in NCAA Division II softball on Saturday, Feb. 28, at noon.
The contest was held at Rawlings Softball Complex and marked the first meeting of the season between the two teams.
Case went 1-for-3 at the plate and drew a walk.
The ThunderWolves are set to face Black Hills State Yellow Jackets again at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, at Rawlings Softball Complex.
