The CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves, featuring former Fossil Ridge High School standout McKenna James, earned a 9-3 victory over the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets in an NCAA Division II softball game held Sunday, March 1, at 11 a.m.
Rawlings Softball Complex served as the venue for the contest, marking the third meeting between the ThunderWolves and Yellow Jackets this season. Their previous matchup occurred Saturday, Feb. 28, when the ThunderWolves fell 3-2.
James tallied two hits from three at-bats and drove in one run.
The ThunderWolves are set to face Black Hills State Yellow Jackets again Sunday, March 1, at 1 p.m. at Rawlings Softball Complex.
