Former Loveland High School standout Emma Case and her CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves teammates were defeated 17-6 by the Chadron State Eagles in an NCAA Division II softball contest Sunday, Feb. 22, at 11 a.m.
The matchup was held at CSC Softball Field and marked the third meeting of the season between the two teams. In their previous encounter on Saturday, Feb. 21, the ThunderWolves claimed a 6-5 win over the Eagles.
Case contributed two hits in three at-bats and drew one walk.
CSU Pueblo will take on the Chadron State Eagles again on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m. at CSC Softball Field.
