CSU Pueblo’s ThunderWolves, featuring former Fossil Ridge High School standout McKenna James, secured a 3-2 NCAA Division II softball victory over the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 1.
The game was played at Rawlings Softball Complex and marked the fourth meeting between the teams this season. In an earlier matchup that same day, the ThunderWolves defeated the Yellow Jackets 9-3.
James registered one hit in three at-bats, scored a run and tallied two RBIs.
The ThunderWolves are set to play next on Saturday, March 7, at 12 p.m. versus the Regis Rangers at Regis Softball Field.
