The CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves, featuring former Fossil Ridge High School standout McKenna James, were defeated 5-3 by the Adams State Grizzlies in an NCAA Division II softball game at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 14.
The teams faced off at ASU Softball Field, marking their third meeting of the season. The ThunderWolves also dropped their previous contest Friday, March 13, by a score of 8-7.
James pitched six innings, allowing four earned runs, walked one, and tallied eight strikeouts.
The ThunderWolves are scheduled to play Adams State Grizzlies again at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, at ASU Softball Field.
