Former Fossil Ridge High School athlete McKenna James saw her CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves squad edged out 8-7 by the Adams State Grizzlies during an NCAA Division II softball game at 2 p.m. Friday, March 13.
The matchup was held at ASU Softball Field and marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. In their earlier game on Friday, March 13, the ThunderWolves were defeated 5-3 by Adams State.
James threw for 4.2 innings and logged two strikeouts.
CSU Pueblo will next take on the Grizzlies again at ASU Softball Field, Saturday, March 14, with first pitch set for 12 p.m.
