Former Fossil Ridge High School standout McKenna James contributed as the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves claimed an 11-1 win against the Regis Rangers at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 8, in their NCAA Division II softball game.
The teams faced off at Regis Softball Field for their third meeting of the season. In the prior contest Saturday, March 7, the ThunderWolves triumphed 7-3 over the Rangers.
James pitched seven innings, allowing three walks and striking out six batters.
CSU Pueblo will face the Regis Rangers again in their next game, scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at Regis Softball Field.
