Colorado State University’s women’s volleyball team is preparing for a crucial stretch in the Mountain West Conference after suffering two consecutive losses on the road. The Rams, with a record of 16-8, lost both matches last week, falling 3-1 to Utah State and 3-1 to Boise State. They will now travel to face San Diego State and UNLV as they aim to maintain their position near the top of the conference standings.

The first match will take place at Aztec Court at Peterson Gym in San Diego, California, against San Diego State (13-12) on Thursday, November 13 at 7:00 PM. Fans can watch the game via Mountain West Network or follow live stats through StatBroadcast.

The second match is scheduled for Saturday, November 15 at 1:00 PM against UNLV (12-12) at The Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada. This match will also be available for streaming on Mountain West Network and tracked live through StatBroadcast.

“CSU looks to rebound after going 0-2 last week, dropping matches to Utah State and Boise State,” according to the team statement. “CSU looks to look past a two-match losing streak as they wrap up their final regular-season road trip.”

Currently ranked second in the Mountain West standings, Colorado State seeks to secure its position as the season approaches its conclusion.

San Diego State recently achieved a win over GCU and is led by outside hitter Taylor Underwood, who averages more than 3.82 kills per set and reached her 1,000th career kill last week. Libero Zara Stewart anchors their defense with a team-leading 215 digs.

UNLV brings an offense that averages nearly 13 kills per set and limits opponents to just above a .200 hitting percentage. The Rebels are coming off a split week—losing to GCU but sweeping New Mexico—and are led by Jiada Smith, who ranks among conference leaders in total points with nearly five per set.

Erin Debiec continues her strong performance for Colorado State as one of the top setters in the Mountain West Conference, ranking among the top two in assists. Maria Brun leads CSU with 28 service aces this season, while Kekua Richards heads up defensive efforts at the net with 109 total blocks, including 11 during last week’s games.

As Colorado State heads into these final regular-season road games, maintaining their standing within the conference remains a key focus.
