Colorado State University’s women’s volleyball team will return to Moby Arena this week for two Mountain West Conference matches. The Rams, currently holding a 14-6 record overall and an 8-2 mark in conference play, are set to face Fresno State on Thursday, October 30 at 6:00 PM and San José State on Saturday, November 1 at 1:00 PM. Both matches will be streamed on the Mountain West Network.

Last week, Colorado State extended its win streak to four by defeating Air Force in four sets and sweeping Wyoming in three sets. The team has won eight of its last nine matches and maintains a strong home record of 7-3 at Moby Arena.

Head coach Emily Kohan’s squad continues to show balanced play. Eve Wilson increased her season total to 218 kills with 25 added over the previous weekend’s matches. Erin Debiec remains one of the conference leaders in assists as she bolsters her team-leading tally. The Rams have maintained a .247 hitting percentage in conference competition, which places them among the top teams in the Mountain West.

Thursday’s opponent, Fresno State (6-15), recently swept New Mexico but lost to Grand Canyon. Senior Addison Haluska leads Fresno with 307 total kills this season. As a team, the Bulldogs have recorded fewer kills than their opponents this year.

San José State arrives with a 9-10 overall record and is even at 5-5 within conference play. In last year’s Mountain West final, San José fell to Colorado State in four sets. Learden Lee led the Spartans with 14 kills against New Mexico last week and holds a .243 hitting average this season.

Saturday’s match against San José State is designated as the Orange Out Game at Moby Arena.

Both matches offer fans opportunities to watch live or follow statistics through StatBroadcast.
