Avery Alcaraz, a former Fort Collins High School star now playing for the UT Tyler Patriots, will participate in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
UT Tyler enters as the No. 7 seed and is set to play the No. 2-seeded West Texas A&M Buffaloes in the opening round.
The first matchup is scheduled for Friday, March 13, at 2:30 p.m. at Kitty Magee Arena.
