2024 H-1B petitions: Approvals for employers classified under Health Care and Social Assistance industry across Larimer News publication area

In 2024, the only H-1B petition submitted by Nephrology Clinic, PC, the only employer classified under the Health Care and Social Assistance industry located across Larimer News publication area was approved, according to data provided by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services via the H-1B Employer Data Hub.

That year, the statewide average approval rate for H-1B petitions stood at 97.9%, slightly higher than 2023’s 97.2%. Across the publication area, employers across all industries submitted 45 petitions during the same period, with an approval rate of 97.8%.

For comparison, the U.S. reported an average approval rate of 98% in 2024.

Meanwhile, the Manufacturing industry was the second largest contributor, filing 13 petitions (28.9% of the total), with an approval rate of 92.3%.

Compared to 2023, the Health Care and Social Assistance sector saw a 50% decrease in the number of H-1B petitions across Larimer News publication area during 2024.
